Luke Grimes will release his highly anticipated sophomore album, Redbird, on April 3rd. The ten-track project, produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, marks Grimes’ most personal and fully realized musical statement to date. The first song from the project, “Love You Now,” is available now.

Grimes posted on Instagram: “Im excited to finally announce that my new album “Redbird” will be coming out on April 3rd. The first song we are releasing “Love you now” is out today on all platforms. More coming very soon!”

“Making Redbird was a cathartic experience in many ways,” says Grimes. “Sometimes the highs and lows of life are too much to express with words, so song becomes necessary. As deeply personal as it is, the themes are simple and universal: love, loss, and learning along the way.”

Grimes co-wrote much of the album and contributed acoustic guitar, percussion, and drums throughout the sessions, working alongside Cobb and collaborators including Jessie Jo Dillon, Natalie Hemby, and others. , His self-titled debut album and breakout track “No Horse to Ride” pushed his music catalog past 200 million global streams.

Already known to audiences worldwide for his leading role as Kayce Dutton on Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, Grimes is now starring in the CBS spinoff series Marshals.
