Ella Langley made sure “Choosing Texas” got the welcome it deserved.
The official music video for the song premiered yesterday, bringing together one of the most impressive ensembles we’ve seen grace a country music video in quite some time. Joining Langley are Yellowstone actor and singer/songwriter Luke Grimes, actress Ava Phillippe — daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe — stepping into the role of the ex, multi-CMA Award winner Miranda Lambert, who also co-wrote the song, and Oklahoma singer/songwriter Kaitlin Butts.
The video was directed by Langley, Wales Tony, and Caylee Robillard, and filmed at the iconic Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth, Texas — because if you’re choosing Texas, there’s no better place to prove it.
